QR Code Generator PRO is the paid, dynamic-code product from QR Code Generator. Its pricing page describes dynamic codes as the way to get scan tracking, redirect control and branded design without reprinting. It also states that the destination of a dynamic code can be changed at any time after printing.

qraffic is built around the same idea. A dynamic code encodes a short link, a server redirects each scan, and the destination can be edited later. The difference is mostly in what sits on top of the redirect: qraffic puts split testing, targeting rules, forms and a REST API on its Pro plan, and sells scan overage by the block instead of capping analytics.

When QR Code Generator PRO is the better choice

• You want to test what works. Pro includes A/B split testing with winner detection, so one printed code can send traffic to several destinations by weight.
• Context should change the destination. Pro adds geo, device, OS, time and language targeting rules in the redirect engine.
• You want a free plan that stays free. The free plan keeps unlimited static codes and lets you edit the destination of 3 dynamic codes.
