Capture

Forms and lead capture

Turn a QR code into a hosted form page, collect submissions, export them, and receive them by webhook.

A form QR code opens a hosted page with your form on it. Visitors fill it in, and each submission is saved for you to review and export. Forms are available on plans that include custom forms, see plans and billing. On other plans the app tells you landing page forms are not available and asks you to upgrade.

How do I create a form QR code?

  1. Choose New QR code on the QR codes page.
  2. Set the type to Dynamic and the content type to Form + landing page.
  3. Create the code. qraffic creates a dynamic code and a form with the same name, links them, and points the code at the form page.
  4. Open the form to add fields and write the page copy.
  5. Publish the form. The toggle confirms with "Form published." and you can set it back to draft at any time.

The form page is served at /f/ followed by the code's slug.

What fields can a form have?

Field types are text, email, phone, number, textarea, select, checkbox, and date. A select field needs at least one option. Each field has:

  • Key: lowercase letters, digits, and underscores, up to 64 characters. The key names the value in your submissions.
  • Label and an optional placeholder.
  • Required: the visitor must fill it in.
  • Prefillable: the field can be filled from the page address. Only prefillable fields read from the query string, for example ?email=name@example.com for a field with the key email.

You can reorder fields.

How do I write the page copy?

Set a headline (up to 200 characters), a subheading (up to 400), a button label (up to 80), a theme, and a logo URL. If you would rather start from a draft, describe your business or campaign and use the option to generate landing copy, then edit the result by hand. Generated copy is subject to a monthly AI usage cap, and the app tells you when it is reached.

Where do submissions go?

Open the form's submissions table to review them. You can export submissions to CSV, up to 10,000 rows. After a successful submit the visitor lands back on the page with a confirmation. If a required field is missing, they see an error instead of losing the page.

Can I send submissions to my own system?

Yes. Webhooks deliver a form.submitted event for each submission. Webhooks are managed through the API, see the API reference.

Can I put a form inside a landing page?

Yes. The page builder has a Form block, see landing pages.
